    No hard drive options in boot despite being visible in system status.


    I was attempting to setup my PC for windows 11 and now my pc won’t boot past the bios. None of my drives are listed in the boot options anymore despite being visible in the system status menu of my Bios. At a loss for what to do!

    i9 9900K
    MSI Gaming Edge AC Z390

    Welcome to the forum. Are you booting from a install usb? If you have more than one drive it's best to remove power from them all except c or windows can put boot files on wrong drive. Did any of the drives have a system on them? It's best to boot USB and during installation delete all partitions. Have you set it to ufei, tpm secure boot

    how about bios screenshots

    at a guess the firmware can't find \EFI\MICROSOFT\BOOT\BOOTMGFW.EFI on any partitions it has searched.

    depending what bios you have it might only search fat32 formatted partitions.

    My guess is that they have the bios set in Legacy.
