Epson printer showing up in device manament > disk drives

When I switch on my printer, the Windows event log is flooded with EventID 507 errors reading
"Completing a failed non-ReadWrite SCSI SRB request", sometimes 5-6x per second...

I have vainly been paying a lot of time to figure out what it is.

Printer is USB connected to a Windows 10 x64 PC

In Device Management under Disk Drives there is an "Epson Storage USB Device" entry.
I went over all the documents : the printer has no memory card or something.
OTOH it shows up in the taskbar with a drive letter and at the end of the day I do a 'Safe removal' so far.

Not sure how to proceed on that, temporarily 'disabled' the device, just to see what happens.
There is no drive letter anymore to be ejected.
The Errors in the eventlog stopped.

FWIW Settings > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers : printer properties look this.

In Device Management Epson shows up as per below. I removed unnecessary stuff.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Just to see what happened, I enabled the disk drive in dev.mgt again...

If there is a card this is how to set it up Memory Card Access Settings

Some have a micro sd card which may be hard to spot what does manual say?

There is a not a single word in the specifications or the manual about a memory card. I searched for the word 'card'.
    Nothing.
There are options to insert an external USB device or SD card, but those slots are not in use.
I have uninstalled all components, one by one. The Epson diskdrive in device management is still there (disabled though as in my earlier post)
BUT... there are no 'errors' as long as it is disabled.
R-click the taskbar printer button does not show a driveletter anymore.
That mystery seems to be solved then (fingers crossed)

Do you have latest 19045.2788 build? It fixed some issue with usb printers ID (I think it can be your issue).
