Weird USB disconnects and reconnects since reorganizing office

    The same cable can work on one computer bot not on another.. as the 5V rail in the USB can be stronger or weaker.
    So that also mean that it can work on one channel but not on another on the same computer.
    I have a feeling some of you in here, have had the pleasure of that experience that with an older external 2.5"HDD that only uses single USB power.. that it can work on some USB ports but not others.
    also some monitors USB hub can be a week link too.

    I bought this cable long ago and never used it. I have no idea of the brand.

    The better ones are "generally" imprinted. Glad that the cable shortening solved your issue.
