Dell Inspiron drivers for Windows 10 x64

    Hi all,
    Two questions:
    1) When I was used to using Windows 7 forums, there was a very small and useful app which when run it would show all devices specs, including the exact name of graphics card, CPU and many more. I've forgotten its name. Could you tell me what that was to download it.

    2) I've installed Windows 10 x64 on Dell Inspiron n5110 laptop. The graphics card name is apparently NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M Intel HD Graphics 3000. Where do you recommend to download its driver for my Windows from, please?

Go to Dell Drivers & downloads - Dell
then put in your Dell Service tag & either let it detect necessary driver updates [& Bios updates] for you or do it manually from its lists.
Do note that its lists can be arranged by Release date by clicking on that column header but the date is rubbish. It is sometimes the Release date but is often a later date of no significance whatsoever.

After Dell eventually give up on updates you can go to Nvidia & to Intel for their respective hardware.
Windows update will also continue to provide driver updates.
I never have to go anywhere else - Dell, Nvidia, Intel - and I suggest you don't either.

    All the best,
    Denis

Your drivers will come from Windows updates, even the Intel, Dell, Nvidia and others.

Don't expect particularly recent ones as that Laptop is very old, however they should work.

This was said before, a week ago, on your other post.

I have GT 740M and Intel HD Graphics 4600 on my old Laptop.

    Denis you're right.
By updating Windows it installed both graphics drives and it's running well.
The only issue that remains is my Windows lacks both Photos and Photo Viewer, hence no app for viewing photos.
    What's your recommendation, please?

Tom - Sorry, I cannot help with that. I know nothing about either of those. I use MSOffice 2007 Picture manager, some MSPaint, some ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5.5

@Ghot - Mike, You're always messing about with pictures so can you help Tom?

    Photos program = Irfanview (freeware).

I use this one on all my devices, and all devices I'm asked to manage, and remove the functionally deficient built-in other (non-)optional apps that come with Windows.

Windows 10 comes with the Photos App, and Paint.

I usually add, IrfanView (32 bit), and Paint.NET
