I could not get any of my registration details accepted --- password or my 3 email addresses, so have had to re-register
Is there anyone here who can give advice on using DVD (Mini) RAM discs (as used by my Panasonic Camcorder)?
First off what are you trying to register, second are mini RAM discs even still a thing.
!. I apologies for not having made clear that 'registration' refers to this Forum. I have been a member for many years, though less so recently. Yesterday I could not get my name or password recognised so had to register new ones, in order to post
2. DVD RAM discs are still in use and the Maxell 60 min double sided Mini ones I currently use were only purchased last summer. Maybe CDs are going to have a revival, as has happened with Records and Tapes?
I really think you should let this thread focus on getting your TenForums registration sorted out.
You can then worry about DVD-RAM disks later on.

I would say sd media based cameras have been around since early 2000s and probably widespread since 2012? Revival? they are not coming back they are enthused but they won't be a dominate standard because they are old tech.
You can say much old tech is still in use in several scenarios but that does not mean it is making a revival. Records and tapes are not coming back its just they never left they are old tech that some people still use but not a leading standard anymore.

We would probably see DVD go full vintage by now but there is one area that still relies on it and that is game consoles. internal Media drives the price right up for a console so its kind of a hold over in that area otherwise most other industries are not using DVD anymore.
Re my registration to this Forum. I have checked my emails but have not found any which deal with signing in with my previous name (clayto) and password (still in my passwords notebook but not recognised when trying to sign in.)) I would welcome advice on how to sign in as clayto, rather than clayto 2. The emails I have found only provide links to my thread as clayto 2, not how to get back to my original long established account. But I will take another look in case I have missed this it
Update after checking emails: I have found an email which says my account is 'already activated and to sign in' with the link provided ----- but this takes me to my new account as clayto2, not to my original account as clayto

I have some dead Mini DVD ram disks in my drawer... More chance of reviving a Dodo than get these working again.
