Looking for "FAST" transfer speed Drives

    I understood that the SSD + hard drive enclosure are already working. If they are, the drive is already initialized (MBR or GPT) and formatted as NTFS.
    If you can't see the drive under Explorer, the drive isn't initialized. Open Disk Manager (C:\Windows\System32\diskmgmt.msc), select the drive and initialize it as MBR or GPT (I suggest to initialize it as GPT). It will also format the drive.
    To just format a drive, open Explorer, right click on the drive and select Format.

    No. I have never worked with an SSD. When I got it, I plugged it into the enclosure, then plugged it into the laptop. Other than a couple of "beeps" telling me something was connected, I could not see the SSD in Explorer. So I went on line to find "How to format an SSD" and after several dead ends, I finally got the laptop to recognize the SSD and formatted it NTFS. And yes, I had fun in Disk Management. Had to try it several times to get it to work right.

These seem redundant to have these displayed next to each other. I always use the left hand column instead. Why click "> Folder" when the contents are already displayed? Is there a way to remove/hide these from the file explorer main panel? :zip:
