I still have a microsoft internet keyboard pro for 23-24 years now. All keys work well, there have been controlled games with this keyboard. I can disassemble it completely for a complete cleaning including the membrane, it is like new. I have already cleaned it several times.

I would like to have an rgb light but looking at amazon reviews a lot of keyboards have issues with keys showing up multiple times or not working after a few months/years. It's the same for so-called big brand gamer keyboards, even the ducky keyboards that I know because i follow a streamer on twitch who has one. Must say that I always look before the most poorly rated amazon reviews.

+1 for the Logitech K800. I use this one & I am happy with it.
Mine has replaceable rechargeable batteries but newer versions don’t have the ability to replace the batteries.
I used to have a Logitech KB, forget the exact model. Batteries died. Original version had replaceable versions. So I followed the YouTube videos that explained how to replace the batteries. BUT, BUT, BUT. Logitech replaced that design to one where the batteries are not replaceable.

Fooled me once. I won't let that happen again.

I type like a pile driver. I was going through rubber dome keyboards about once a month.
Then I bought a Steel Series 6Gv2 (2011). That lasted a while but it started double typing after a year or so.

THEN in 2013 I bought a Ducky Shine II, and a Ducky Shine III in case the Shine II ever broke.
Well, the Ducky Shine II is still going strong, 10 years later.

As you can see, I'm starting to wear the letters off the key caps... but the keyboard itself... is like the day it was born.
Yes... I know it needs cleaned. LOL

10 years is good, too bad the letters and paint are leaving almost perfect. I've seen that also in amazon reviews the paint that leaves on several keyboards but quite quickly.
The twitch steamer that I follow has a Ducky Shine 7 rgb, it's expensive here and I'm not a gamer I'm not going to buy it for sure. The ducky II or III if they are sold here they are not rgb. I want an rgb to use at Christmas with a glass of champagne.

The black is the paint, not the letters.

When new it looked like this...

This is my Ducky Shine III, that I've never used yet. I bought it in case the Shine II ever broke... which it hasn't.

    I see, it's letters, characters...in transparent plastic.

I had seen that you had a ducky shine 3 in the other post. I haven't done a long search on ducky keyboards and haven't seen many amazon reviews. I keep this brand in mind for further research into their rgb keyboard.
