I don't think you will ever use more than 8G. Did you install 2x16 G, same brand and model?

Sorry Mike, I can't help you on this.
Yes, I checked in the manual and it said there were two slots and each could take 2, 4, 8 or 16 GB modules.

When I opened it to change the battery, I saw it had only one 16 GB module and one slot was free.

I got used memory off ebay (same brand and same model number) .. $30 ... put it and and the computer recognized it (I checked).

    Thanks .... Mike

I don't know if this option will work...

Start button, then select Settings > Ease of Access>mouse

turn on Mouse Keys to use your keypad to move the mouse.

here it is not the movement of the cursor with the keypad which is interesting but when you have activated the option you will be able to use keys of the keypad for the right and left clicks and more I believe. As I have an azerty keyboard not qwerty the keys are probably different. Test the keys or do a google search to find out exactly which keys to use when this option is enabled. You will have your keys corresponding to the qwerty of the keypad in the Google usa search.

edit: Keys on the numeric keypad, numbers and other keys on the side of the numeric keypad...

Mike, most laptops require a specific software to control the keyboard Fn and other keys. Also, some laptops has the ability to limit the battery charge to 80 or 50% to increase the battery life. (With 80% battery can last 3 times more than with 100%).
This specific software you will find on the laptop web page.

I found this for keyboard keys and right and left click operation. It's a uk site I don't know if it will work with a US keyboard. But it gives an idea of how it works.

I tried with my keyboard it works fine. Surely it takes a bit of time to take the hit. It is necessary to experiment or search in google to know all the subtleties of the key combinations.

One of the basic combinations you must first press a key, release it and press key 5, this makes a right or left click.

And you don't need special software for that.

If in the link I indicated above the keys indicated do not correspond with your keys on the numeric keypad, use your keys which correspond to the placement of the keys circled in red.
