Numeric data processor, system timer, Device Manager

Hello. What does the numeric data processor do and how do you get it back if you would uninstall it? The same question applies to the other important devices such as system timer, root bus enumerator, all the intel processors etc. Will it be possible to get all those back by doing a clean install of Windows or are they forever gone if you accidentally uninstall them?

Here you could search for all kind of files in Windows and also get a nice explanation for what it is doing.

I think you mean that you have uninstalled devices from Device manager.

Device manager should automatically re-detect all connected devices without any user intervention.
If it doesn't then rebooting should force re-detection.

Reinstalling Windows would involve re-detection as well but would be using a very large hammer to crack a very small nut.
