USB LED keyboard keeps lighten up at switched off notebook

    Hello.
I have a cable connected USB keyboard attached to a Lenovo notebook with Windows 10. The keyboard has LED keys. If I shutdown the notebook (power supply is off) the keyboard is still lighten up. How can I manage that the keyboard goes off when the notebook shuts down?
    Thanks! Tom

You need to check the BIOS setup settings about keeping USB Power after shutdown....

You may also try a different USB port that not have this "Power ON always..." setting enabled.

    Welcome to Ten Forums.

Many laptops have one usb port that can be used to charge other devices such as a phone while shut down. If so then the usb port is identified with a lightning bolt.

You may be able to enable or disable this function in the bios, or sometimes there's also an OEM utility that can do so. If you can't find a way to turn it off, then use another usb port.

Some laptops are equipped with Always on USB which supports charging devices via the USB port when the PC is off. This document includes two sections:
