Help me find an ancient driver

    Hello.

I have just installed w10 x86 on an ancient LG R200 laptop (Core 2 Duo T7250 [Merom] CPU; PM965/ICH8-ME chipset). It works fine but one driver is missing...

    PCI Memory Controller

    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_444E&SUBSYS_444E8086&REV_01

At first sight, it looks like some chipset component, but I have been unable to find it.

You can, in these circumstances, with due caution, try using a 3rd party driver updater tool.

SDI (Snappy Drive Installer) is a good start.

Using SDIO I got Intel(r) Turbo Memory Controller but either it doesn't install or gives a code 10 upon installation.

    Thank you for your reply.

You're free to try others... e.g. DriverMax.

Absolutely no guarantee... persistence may be rewarded- or not.

You'll no doubt be aware of sites like
LG R200-R.CP22B Drivers Download For Windows

    and searching for
    LG R200 drivers
will turn up all manner of questionable sites.

LG R200 - seems to be from around 2007.

It seems one of them got installed and working, so far. But it says "Intel hardware reserved for future use".

Thanks Dalchina for helping me out.
