Lost permission to access flash drive

    Windows 10 Home ver. 22H2
I have a flash drive that I once used as boot drive for TAILS.
I then partitioned it to a Basic Data Partition.
Now, when I try to access it, I'm told that:
'You don't currently have permission to access this folder. Click continue to permanently get access this folder'.
'You have been denied permission to access this folder.' 'To gain access... use the security tab' (link to Security Tab).
How do I get round this problem?

You dont say how its formated if its fat32 it doesnt have security if its ntfs you may need to set security to everyone. I would delete all partitions and do it again as primary

    Now that is well weird!
I just got back & read your comments, so I checked out Disk Management. It's FAT32 Basic Date Partition.
I then double-clicked on the drive & it's acting normally!!!
    Now I'm even more puzzled.
I apologize for wasting your time, but I've checked & double-checked & it is the same Flash Drive.
I feel like a complete idiot now. What could it have been?
