    Default MS 10 Print Drivers


    Hi
    In trying to resolve a kernal error with new Xerox C235 printer I uninstalled all the drivers under print queue in device manager. Ditto under Imaging devices.

    Can I reinstate these? I have managed to get back the default print to pdf and xps writer drivers; they now appear back in the windows printer select list. Are there any others that I need to reinstate?

    Personally, I always download the operating software [which includes the driver] from my printer maker.
    Reliable C235 Colour Multifunction Printer - Xerox
    Their Smart start application is downloadable from their site. I always choose these rather than Windows 10 apps.
    Their Print & scan experience app is a Windows 10 app downloadable from MSStore. They include a link to that.

    Their software might or might not check your computer and uninstall any remnants of previous installations for you.
    They might have advice about uninstalling previous ones in their Support section.

    I've used the smart start download whcih I thought was just Xerox drivers. Not those that appear itn he list absent any printer install at all.

    Their Smart start download is 23.7MB so it has more than just a driver.
