    Recent Red Light on Mobo

    hello
after a fair use of my motherboard recently it has started sitting on the Red light which indicates CPU but then after a min goes through the others an shows the Bios logo an away we go,
what i dont understand is what may be causing this new issue.

no hardware has changed no bios settings have changed apart from resetting an that didnt fix the issue, ive tried reinstalling the OS to no avail, reseated the CPU, RAM all sata cables, de dusted evrything an even reseated the power connectors, an as a last resort i updated my bios to the latest an nothing has worked.
after a while my system decides to hang an only pressing the reset button works but the OS is still "alive" just wont open anything.

has anyone got any idea to what this may be?
my specs are in the bio :)

Could be a problem with the +5V standby power input from the PSU or handshaking signals with the PSU for the MB to power up. Suggest trying another PSU. Also replace the CMOS battery since low battery voltage can cause issues.

    Heat maybe

Not sure what weather is there - but could be a warning of CPU getting too hot and OK once fans up and running.

Will anything boot from say a USB port. E.G stand alone macrium or whatever.

    Cheers

once the os is up and running its ok for anywhere from 5 mins to hours but will stop processing an i have to force a restart, i doubt its power related as all my voltages are on par, its not heat as the aio is flowing fine and the connection between the plate and cpu is solid with fresh paste sitting at a cool 32c and just over 60 under 100% stress, im wondering if the cpu or the mobo is on the way out to be honest
