Sorry, what is the Hard Disk Sentinel?

Yes, the HDDs you mentioned (E and F) are in the dock giving the problem. The other dock has no problem (D:). And, yes both my docks (2-bay, and single-bay) were connected when the screenshot was taken. I'll now send you the "dskmgmt" screenshot you want.
    Thank you. Screenshot noted.

Hard Disk Sentinel, per my post and link (see my post #7) is a HDD and (SSD) diagnostic program among other things.
Please download and install. If @jumanji can give you targeted instructions that would be very welcome, especially that he has a similar dock.

Could you please post a revised screenshot of Device Manager with all remaining requested parameters expanded?

    Thanks.

Hi. I thought you had given up on me! I'll get on the hard disk sentinel right away. And, sorry, what add'l Disc Management specifics did I miss?

And (ref. posting #14) should I proceed with the actions you suggested, despite the missing references?

    Give up? Nah.

In your search bar, simply type device manager - it should open in front of you.
Please expand the entries under the following categories and post a screenshot here.

    Disk Drives
    Portable Devices
    Software Components
    Software Devices
    Storage Controllers
    Universal Serial Bus Controllers

Don't forget to expand each entry as mentioned above.

    And download/install Hard Disk Sentinel.

Do all of that and we can go from there.

    Thanks.

Well, finally I have the status of things on my end. I have the problem drives back in hand. A well-meaning friend wanted to try his hand at resolving my dilemma. The results were mixed...he managed to recover most of the files, reformat the RAW disks, and reload the repaired files. Unfortunately I lost a lot of date, but I managed to save a lot, too. And has become evident to me that all this chaos was own doing...lesson learned.

I want to thank you so much for all the time and patience you have shown me. I am so grateful. And add'l thanks to Megahertz, SIW2, MaloK, and VXBaKeRXV for their comments as well. Thanks to you all!
