Logitech C920S how to stop Mirroring image!

I hope this is the correct forum. I have looked everywhere. I am on Windows 10 64 bit Pro 1909. I just got a new Logitech C920S and it seems OK, but just going to CAMERA has everything flipped or mirrored. If I raise my right hand it is showing on the left. This even happens in Google Meetings. Any instructions I see online do not seem to apply any more. I saw a registry hack but do not know if that would work and I can not find it again. Does anyone here know of a simple fix? I am not talking about ZOOM or Skype...just the CAMERA item on the start menu.

    A simple test:

Hold up a sheet with large text on it: newspaper headline (remember newspapers? ), book cover, etc.

    Does it read correctly?

The title should read 'how can I make my webcam show a mirror image - reversed R >> L like an actual mirror'.

Your camera is working OK. If you were wearing a T-shirt with a message, would you want people in a zoom meeting etc to be able to read the message or see it reversed ?

Here's a conundrum - why does a mirror swap left to right, but not top to bottom ?

I did some experiments with the following using the Windows 10 Camera app

    1. Desktop with Logitech C920S webcam
    2. Laptop with Logitech C920S webcam
    3. Laptop with built-in webcam

1.The video left-right was correct. If I took a picture the left-right was correct

    2. The video left-right was correct. If I took a picture the left-right was correct

    3. The video left-right was reversed. If I took a picture the left-right was correct

OK, I will try to see if I can read it.

Yes, it works. So, if I raise my right hand it shows on the left but I CAN read large print held up to the camera.

There seems to be two philosophies on how a webcam should work:
    1. Preserve the left-right as if you are viewed by someone looking at you
    2. Reverse the left-right so the view is like looking in a mirror

In both cases the the left-right should be correct when a remote person sees the image or a picture or video is taken of the user of the webcam.

I think that if the left-right is reversed there should at least be an option to reverse it.

Even though the Camera app reverses left-right for my laptop webcam the Zoom app shows left-right correctly. The Zoom app does have an option to switch left-right but in my case it is not necessary.
