    Harddisk 3000GB


    I seem at a loss to find a proper answer:
    is it possible with Windows 10 (Home Edition) to read harddisks larger than 2TB (in my case 3TB) without additional drver software?

    Hello @aliskander,

    As mentioned, you can convert the Disk to GPT . . .

    > How to Convert MBR Disk to GPT Disk in Windows 10

    Option 1 in the above Tutorial is a known method that works very well because the process is WITHOUT Data Loss. BUT,

    warning   Warning
    To be extra safe, it is always RECOMMENDED to backup ANYTHING that you do NOT want to lose FIRST.

    Also, have a look at the Related Tutorials at the BOTTOM of the above Tutorial [ there are a few ], as they may also be related.
