    Configurating Cameras and Microphones

How do I change settings for and uninstall cameras and other such camera things? (Windows 10 is impossible and everything changes faster than web instructions can keep up).

There is no "Cameras" listed in Settings.

But there is one listed in Control Panel

Of course, in Zoom (and other applications), there are three. Those "DroidCam" ones are a software app which allowed me to use my cell as a camera. There seems to be no way to turn them off without uninstalling the software. But there's also no way for me to configure them as the non-default.

Then, when we're done with that, I'll have the same question about choosing and configuring microphones. Whenever I search settings about microphones, all I get is Speech Setup. See, "speech" is not the same thing as setting up the hardware, but Microsoft doesn't seem to believe me about that.

If not hardware built into the computer or monitor, there is nothing to uninstall.

The information about how to configure the Razer Kiyo Pro webcam (with audio) is in the User Guide but, to summarise, you need to install the Razer Synapse software (download and/or video) which provides the configuration interface.

An Advanced Settings button within Synapse provides a link to Windows 10's camera properties.

If you just want to disable/enable the webcam without unplugging it, perhaps have a look at Nir Sofer's USBDeview which will allow you to create an elevated shortcut that will do this using /disable_enable_by_serial <Device Serial> (or <VendorID;ProductID>) switches.

    Hope this helps...

Hi. Returning to this issue after a while. Thanks for your replies and sorry for letting it drop.

Then how can I get rid of the option to switch to DroidCam as a video source? DroidCam is software that's installed on my system.

Thanks. The Razer's configuration is fine. I'm trying to remove the DroidCam cameras as video sources. But I don't want to uninstall the software (which I paid for, and is actually kinda handy).
