Nope, no updates. Drive is currently showing up if I first boot into BIOS, then exit w/o changing anything.
If you have fast boot enabled in BIOS, try with it disabled.

Mentioned that in the OP...it's been disabled. It was the first thing I did, after which it usually showed up, but still not every time.

After so many days of look at 100s of posts, my brain is unable to retain all the details We're on page 3 of this thread.

I get it...thanks for all your help!

This laptop has been a great, except for this issue and LAN on resume/wake, where it can take up to two minutes for it to reconnect (I blame Modern Standby), and the issue identified here - AMD and TPM Attestation Failing 0x81039024 | 0x800705b4 (fix coming, apparently).

    Update:
With the latest Patch Tuesday updates, I no longer lose the drives on restart (cold or hot)...BUT I'm getting a BSOD (Critical_Process_Died) ONLY on battery power. When plugged in, everything seems to be solid. What to check?
I'll post in the BSOD section as it's probably more appropriate once I can collect the dump file.
