Logitech MK320 remote keyboard volume keys no longer work

I don't know if a Windows update did this, but suddenly I can no longer use my keyboard volume keys. When I try, what happens is a new browser tab opens.

My Windows version is also unreachable easily. My AMD software is automatically loading it's own shortcut keys settings. In the AMD Settings, it shows as disabled, but their keyboard links are overriding everything. I have to enable them and then disable them.

Only then are they actually disabled. This is also messing up other keyboard link settings I regularly use in vscode. And, of course, also the Windows + R to get my winver. OK, I just went through the reset and my Windows 10 Version is 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1466). Another area is when using a particular new Kodi vertion skin...I can't move my mouse cursor past a certain point on the screen. Again, only that AMD enabling, then disabling their shortcut settings fixes that. What a pain in the arse!

I know I went through an enormously long and complicated set of things to do recommended by AMD support, but after all that I'm back to the same old situation again.

Keyboard language code? (which maps keys accordingly and different)
Make sure your system language, region and keyboard are set correct.

PS In my personal experience all products "Logitech" are garbage.
I had one of those MK320 KB/Mouse and after a year tossed both.

That's OK, but I've had these Logitech remote wireless keyboards for well over ten years and loved them always. They've never been garbage to me. Well worth the price. I bought them again and again, and recommended them to many who also were extremely happy to use them.

Maybe I'll get a response with a better suggested solution. I'm pretty sure this is not a Logitech keyboard problem, but rather either a Microsoft driver update or AMD software one. But thanks for your input.

Thanks steve108, I tried updating the Logitech software for that, but it didn't work. The software reported that it couldn't find a Logitech device attached to my computer. I'm baffled. Instead of Logitech, in the Device Manager, it shows the driver as Microsoft. Also, I tried updating the firmware via your provided download link. It says it can't find any Logitech devices when I clearly do have (and I'm using it). Today, my volume control keys are working (after I enabled and disabled the AMD settings for key combination shortcuts as I mentioned before). I'm baffled. I've been waiting for twenty minutes as the firmware update tries to find my device. I'm going to leave it trying in the background, but I have to move on. So, I'll have to treat this as solved for now without a clue, or unresolved waiting for an understandable solution.

I was just with Logitech support. After a long bunch of checks I had already tried, they concluded it was probably a Windows background update. I notice that you have 20H1. I somehow let 20H2 install, and I just got an update installed a couple of days ago. Microsoft regularly messes up my settings on their updates. Is there some way to roll back the latest updates installed? I think I may have allowed a driver update that killed the Logitech driver and replaced it with a Microsoft one.

Uninstall Windows Update in Windows 10 you could give this a try to try and remove the latest CU shown in your Windows Update history.

Most people here are on 21H2.

If it's using a Microsoft driver, that's a generic driver probably, vs the Logitech device specific driver.

Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect we recommend making monthly backups at minimum. In a situation like this, you could restore your last good backup within 20 minutes. A real life saver.

Must be a durable keyboard if you bought, had to buy them "again and again"...
I went back to my good old over 35 years trusted REAL keyboard "Model M" from IBM. guess what? Still works flawlessly and perfect like since day 1. Fine, so I got a cable and no MMedia functions. I can live with tat. I can't live/work however, with crappy keyboards I spend more time correcting/fixing than actually typing!

My M320 set lasted a year and I'm not a heavy 10 finger user like a secretary.
I was lucky to convince the vendor to refund me the purchase.
An undefined clicky-di-clack mushy tactile feedback junk. Never made so many typing errors.
On top of all, had the same problem like you.
Searched/contacted for the correct suitable driver.
    Never got a competent reply.
Other than "What? You want a working/updated software drivers with that?"
Nah, you have to buy a newer model. We'll sell you one. You're is not compatible with the newer driver.

To date all products Logitech I had failed or became dysfunctional, typically outside the warranty.
Last purchase was a K830 bought in 2019 for the living room. Rarely used. Stopped working after 6 months.
Cause: the multi-layer foils with the key contacts printed on oxidized.
Opened it (2 dozen screws[!!] still wouldn't open) cleaned all and it worked again.... for another 6 months...
No more any of these "garbage products" ever again.
Try google "Logitech products are garbage".

First, googling is not a very good way to find out about almost anything. It's only a very crude start.

Second, let me see now, I'm pretty sure I bought my first Logitech keyboard/mouse combo back about 20 years ago. It lasted about 10 years, so yes, it was very durable and very reliable. You should do a little more in-depth on the history of their products.

The most recent one I have (the MK320) I bought in 2015. I liked it so much that I bought three of them. You should also check out the many thousands of very high buyer reviews on them, not just the magazine (bribe taking) reviews.

So that's that. Thanks, and please move on. I don't want to get into silly arguments.

I'm just sharing my experience with you.
