Could you possibly provide some more detail? It would be pure wild guessing at this point. We have no idea what model laptop for example.
The more info you can provide, the better.
Some things to start:
Precise make and model of the laptop.
Why are installing the chipset driver? Is it because you performed a clean install of the OS? If so, what prompted the reinstall (was there a problem of some sort)?
Any other details you can think of that might be relevant to the problem.
Thanks!
It cant copy a file so either the download is corupted or you dont have permission try right clicking and run as admin
Please explain your reference to Win8 & confirm that you are using Win10 [as you seem to be saying you are not].
And post any diagrams you want people to see.

Here are the screenshots:
There are several MEDION AKOYA P2212T models. For example:
MEDION AKOYA P2212T (MD 99333) EN
MEDION AKOYA P2212T (MD 99288) EN
MEDION AKOYA P2212T (MD 99360) EN

and more
That said, on the Medion web site, they show no drivers available for download for any of these models. However, you noted that you downloaded the driver from the official web site. Could you provide a link to that location?
I was using www.medion.com but couldn't find the drivers there.
I'm also wondering, when you first purchased the system, in all likelihood, there was probably a recovery partition on the system to allow you to recover the system back to the original state. The recovery program often also allows you to create a recovery thumb drive. Do you still have that recovery partition, or did you create a thumb drive recovery disk?
R u maybe a police inspector?
If I wrote I downloaded offical drivers from website it means I did.
I don't want further to explain anyone about specific link to it.
Maybe ypu want exact time and date when I downloaded drivers?Huh?
No recovery partition,I deleted it.
Besides I didn't see recovery partition in my computer.
It' irelevant what exact model is the laptop of its for UK Vietnam or maybe Alaska.
I was precise enough about driver I need (screenshots)!!
I was in no way trying to accuse you of not having downloaded the correct or official drivers. I simply wanted to see what details the manufacturer had about the drivers on their web site and to download the chipset driver myself for closer inspection.
In other words, I was willing to put in some work myself in an effort to help.
My apologies if this in some way offended you. I will remove myself from this thread to ensure I don't make that mistake again.
