    Hello Ed ,

    https://www.amazon.com/ExpressCard-3.../dp/B0045BLP1S
    Product Guides and Documents:
Look for the driver link - it's in the following PDF
    https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71DlryNiwBL.pdf

Looks like it has an Asmedia chip/component.

Thanks for the link. I have this one already and the install completes without issue. However, the Card is still not recognized, and I don't see the driver listed in Device Manager...

One of the Amazon reviewer said Windows 10 automatically detected it with no external drivers needing to be installed. I wonder if you got a bad unit since it's not showing up in Device Manager.

    Thanks, Steve.

A bad card is my fear, also. This card had performed well for several months, and I only removed it to work on a different issue. I didn't reinstall it until quite a while after my successful troubleshooting. I don't recall whether it required a driver on my initial install or not.

    Apparently, it is now Kaput...

    Thanks 'Boom'----

I'm using an old Sony VPCEB23FX laptop. BIOS was entered via reboot holding F2 key. There's nothing at all in there about Power Management. I will explore setup with Win 10 running and see if anything presents itself in the Power sections.

Did you change any settings in BIOS since your Gmyle was last alive? If not and you've rebooted your PC recently and it still doesn't work, then I don't see how it could be related to a BIOS setting. How long (months/days, etc) did it work properly for you before dying? No harm in turning over all rocks, though to make sure.

A few hours after I had tried any suggested fixes, the USB 3.0 Card started working... When I checked Device Manager it reported the card had "started" about 10 minutes earlier. No clue if it was anything I did, or just a 'spontaneous remission.'

Thanks to all who read my request and of course to those who were able to respond.
