Hello. I'm running a 10 year old processor, works just fine today. It's an Intel i7-2600. For the money you have, you could look at some older hardware.

Actually it's a fresh install from a Microsoft site .iso
Because it is a bad chinese brand TECLAST I immediately installed the fresh copy (I fear spyware from China) but maybe I was too fast and I don't know how well it runs on the original Windows they install. I got the full 15GB firmware from their site though and I can reinstall it. I did have a driver problem as the sound didn't work until I found an old Realtek driver that worked so maybe I'm having software or drivers problems.

Thanks!
I wouldn’t like to fully comment on that but there are horror stories of Chinese versions of Windows containing malware, spyware & other nasties.
You can always run Malwarebytes (with scan for rootkits enabled) & AwCleaner after the install if everything is running OK.
I would gladly play with drivers for a while before restoring that.
Lol. I thought so. Is it normal to be 15GB big their downloaded firmware?? I mean it's just Windows. The drivers go apart in a 600 MB autoinstalling folder that I already installed.
The lagging happens mostly in the web pages though, when they are opening. Might also be the ads or the uBlock too... Yours never stutter when the page is still loading?
To be honest I love the laptop, the screen is the best I ever had, FullHD mate, thin frame, the keyboard has lights which I love and for this price it's a luxury... I'd like to keep it if possible, I can't get those features for 440€.

I already installed their downloaded drivers pack, they come with a self-installing system inside a folder. Just double clicked a file and all the 600MB drivers got installed.
I use AdGuard to block ads so I have no problems with scrolling.
I have a PC Specialist Optimus VII V17-960 Gaming Laptop
Usually Windows 10 is about 8GB however if the media contains both Home & Pro then this will increase the size of the file significantly - in that case it would be about 16GB.
