Bluetooth devices interfere with mouse/keyboard input

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the right section for my issue

Anyhow, while using my keyboard and mouse for work I've had a really irritating issue where they would constantly spaz out at random.

    They would either:
    • Randomly disconnect/reconnect
    • Hinder my ability to click on certain windows or even the taskbar unless I ctr+alt+delete which restores the control temporarily
    • Have a mind of its own such as spamming the same last used key for a second or two

However I recently narrowed down the source and realized this issue only occurs when the laptop is connected to my bluetooth earbuds. (Occurred with two different bluetooth earbud models however both by Samsung if that matters)

Just an FYI but the keyboard and mouse are wired and are connected via a KVM switch if that makes any difference.

Any ideas as to why certain bluetooth devices if not all impair the input for my mouse and keyboard would be greatly appreciated.

Inspect all of the cabling between your keyboard, mouse and the KVM, and between the KVM and your computers. Fully reseat (completely unplug, then make sure they plug in all the way) all of their connections. A ground shield which is damaged or not connected will turn the signal wires into great antennas, causing them to pick up any RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), including Bluetooth and WiFi.

    Hi,

BT and WIFI are closely related, you can check if your drivers are the GOOD ones. that would be the first thing to do.

But there's real interference and sometimes nothing can help it but changing something somewhere...

I have a W-Shark WIFI keyboard that will sometimes become uncontrollable for a moment just have to wait The more the batteries are low the worst it becomes.

Heating element and electric motors are very prone to create interference in low power WIFI devices.

High Power Heater and Motors can cut off a perfectly working Gigabyte Ethernet link. Welding machinery can make a computer become completely nuts (like typing and moving the mouse alone)... Some fluorescent ballasts are also to watch out.

But in an household it boils down to finding the aggressor / victim and remove / replace the less costly of them.
