Possibly a dumb memory question, but I looked around first, no joy

OK, but my original post is about checking for a way to tweak memory settings just to be sure if the memory is being used for maximum benefit. If there's no way or if Windows does a really good job with this then I don't have a reason to go further.

How should I present my ID numbers or should I present them at all?

In general use Windows manages memory just fine, adding more RAM can improve overall performance (especially with a spinner type HD as it allows Windows to cache more data), but up to a certain point, depending on the apps you use, going over 16Gb can be pointless on some systems.
Make sure that the HD is using the caching policy in device manager for performance improvement but be aware a sudden power loss means any data held in the cache could be lost.
Adding an SSD would show the most performance lift as everything becomes snappier, more responsive, especially with Windows 10 and above.
Maybe tell us the apps you use most often and someone might know some app specific tuning you could do, otherwise just let Windows do it's thing.

Caching policy in Device Manager is enabled. I am sensing in this much appreciated discussion that this unit is working as it should. It tends to run warm and some internal sensors can go to 165f or a little more (processor sensors I think,) if it is doing too much crunching. Eventually I will get around to cleaning the fan inside, for now all I can do is clean the blades as the fan is on the top, under the keys and I was not that confident of a full disassembly including removal of the keyboard assembly. Steps I've already taken like cleaning what I can and the memory upgrade have helped speed it up a bit and to run a little cooler. At this moment with two browser tabs and only Device Manager running, it is cool. Thank you

Will check the link for Windows Page File next chance I get, thanks!

    Hello.

Make sure SysMain is running too. Open an admin cmd window and type:

    SC Query SysMain

    It should say RUNNING...

PS - Other than that if you want a speed boot, replace HD for SSD as it has been said earlier.

Adding memory does not require any manual settings to use it efficiently. Windows manages memory dynamically according to availability and need and it does this far better than even an expert could. The default pagefile settings are appropriate for most situations. The settings are there to meet unusual situations, not for tweaking. It is much easier to make things worse than better. Most attempts to optimizing the pagefile are a waste of time.

An SSD will do far more for performance than any memory tweaking you could do. A system with 16 GB RAM and no SSD is unbalanced and will always be help back by the drive.
