Hi everyone, it has been some time since I have posted on this Forum.
My question is: Is DriverEasy reliable or is it just another Driver Updater?
I have read what I can on the Web, but I would like some Expert-advice, before I run it.
From what I have read it should be flawless almost?
I and many others here do not recommend such 3rd party driver updater software. Best to get drivers from your PC manufacturer app or website or component manufacturer website if you built it yourself.
Leave the snake oil off your computer. Tens (if not hudreds) of millions of Windows computers, including all of mine, do just fine without it.

Out of curiosity, why do you want something like that?
It is far better to have CONTROL over what is, and what isn't, installed on your computer. Otherwise, you leave yourself open to the automatic Software also installing other nasties, such as Viruses, Malware, Spyware etc.
You are far better off using WU or theManufacturers Official Website.
Just my thoughts.

Those driver updaters tend to do more harm than good, like registry cleaners. I would stay clear off them.
PS - Since Windows 10 is mature enough, it does a quite good job of finding all the drivers you need.
It is the best one around and it also offers tech support articles. Knowledge Base Archive - Driver Easy
It is great especially for finding drivers for laptops and less known devices you would not find otherwise. Free version has limited speed, but once you know the version number, you can google the download elsewhere.
