Anyway, have not had another notification since disabling it. That said, I'll now have to check in manually for updates.

As an aside and apparently not just a Magician issue, I have noticed that since updating to 21H2 I have started to get pop ups when rebooting or starting up. So far, I have had pop ups from Zoom, Macrium, as well as PCloud. Hopefully it's a "Christmas" issue and will stop in January - I hope so but kind of doubt it.

Multiple systems (10+) running 20H1, and 21H1.
All now show 'Update your firmware' alert on every reboot, while before it was only when a new version was available.
No other extra popups have appeared.

Version 7.0.0 did not do this when originally installed (I believe) but it does it all the time now. All firmware is up to date. Each user can disable the message, but that just drives people to ignore notifications.

It looks like a simple (and stupid) bug. Samsung needs to fix this.
