I forgot to mention that all of the ones I bought are used.
It might be time to buy a Brand New Keyboard, wired, or wireless.

If you want to make a very decent investment, I whole-heartedly recommend the Logitech MX Keys. No cables, and it's simply wonderful to use. If you also go for an MX Flow enabled mouse, it is an awesome combination.

    Kind regards.

I've had clients that used the USB Wireless keyboard/mouse kit and invariably the keyboard battery lasted much longer than the mouse battery did, same for our church's Secretary and Treasurer.

It's the other way around with my MX Keys / MX Anywahere 2 keyboard / mouse combination, which I absolutely love using. The keyboard needs recharging quite a bit sooner than the mouse does, mainly because of the illuminated keys I think. Even so, the keyboard charge lasts well over a month and the mouse charge lasts much longer, though I tend to charge both at the same time.

Hmmm, never really had a problem with the cable on the keyboard.

With that said, many of the newer mechanical keyboards these days come with a USB-c style cable that you can simply replace if anything there to go wrong with it.

I am using a Corsair K70 TKL and it's been solid for me.

I have had several Logitech wireless mouse/keyboards (M/KB) that just stop working due to dead batteries/connections. A lot of issues are with the battery spring (-side) that develop a white surface corrosion. Those are buried and difficult to clean. Always used major battery brands lasting 1-2 months. A Microsoft combo has lasted the longest.

I just built a new system (Asus MB) with a brand new Logitech combo that the mouse cursor just randomly jumps all over the screen, will settle for a minute or so and then goes crazy. I have switched the M/KB + Rcvr to my W10 machine and it works fine, the old W10 M/KB + Rcvr jumps on the new computer. I have changed the drivers etc multiple times, removed all the nearby 2.4ghz devices in the area, same problem.

Current solution is using a wired M/KB on the ASUS MB (USB) and it works without issue. Now I have ~4 logitech KB without mouses, 2 combo's are working. Irritating to say the least.
