It wasn't a "want" it was a "I don't get all this upgrading thingy"
You can keep the HDD installed, along with adding the new SSD. What's the capacity of each?

Ok, here's my plan, add the SSD M.2 into the slot. Wipe the Hard-drive, use for extra storage, and clean-install Windows 10. I did want to ask about Windows 11 on this thread as well. Should I upgrade that now since doing clean install anyway?

Yes! So you can clone the HDD to the SSD, then after the clone, you would disconnect the HDD and make sure the SSD by itself boots and works fine.

Watch this and ask questions before proceeding

    Hi,
Think the bottom one is a internet card m.2 slot

They don't go by 3" a typical size is 2280 and in the top m.2 only with m key

HDD os not well you have one
2.5" sata ssd's are great too
Think m.2 ssd's are over rated.

Thanks, you guys are always so helpful and I could not accomplish what I've done as far as upgrades, and just basic questions, without the help of good folks on this forum :)
