    Merge non-contiguous partitions (SSD)

    Hi W10,

Here I want to merge C: [Windows] and F: [New Volume] while keeping D: [Apps] and E: [Files] intact/untouched. We can leave the 30MB Unallocated at the end.

I have Paragon Disk Manager but willing to install another 3rd-party app if needed where this operation has been successful from experience.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
    Free minitool
Older version is best so don't update it when asked on startup.

What I have done is to create a drive image on an external drive using Macrium Reflect, boot from a USB Macrium Reflect, delete the partitions on the right of C: and then restore the partitions from the image, starting with the one you want to join to C: . Then with Paragon or MiniTool join the two partitions.

    Hi TZ,

Thanks for the link, I have installed the v9. What would be the operation/steps to do next?

I am doing this for the first time so happy to have guidance from experienced MiniTool users. :)

    Hi,
Right click F and select merge.
    Point to C.
Apply and minitool will restart your machine to do the merge operation while os is inactive.

Merging/ moving 120gb will take a little while.

    Hi TZ,

Unfortunately, the Merge Partition operation is not free.

Another option might be delete F and right click C and extend and point to the unallocated space.

Most disk managers require that the two partitions are side by side to merge them.
