    As the OP, I don't have a Windows 11 set-up to comment. You could try the Windows 10 app "Windows Scan" which also works with my Perfection 1200 scanner.

    After a month or so the PC losing setting for 1200 (actual 2400)..


    I have used this solution and selecting Perfection 2400, connected via USB cable. But perhaps after a month, I have to reinstall the driver since it states Epson scan cannot be started. So it somehow loses the setting over and over again. I then tried NAPS2 software and I had to select a profile and I selected Epson 2400 which did show up. I selected Twain and also tried a few options and it still says it cannot find the scanner. It will find it if I reload the driver in Device Manager for Perfection 1200 and selection 2400. So not sure what is causing registry or some file / setting to be lost.
