Spunk: it was a little different in my case. There were two different Properties screens. Right-clicking in the Disk 1 area brought a screen that had a number of tabs. I may have missed it, but none of the tabs had anything about changing driver letters.

I needed to go to the Volume region, look for a volume listing Disk 1, and right click on Disk 1. The next screen listed "Change Drive Letter and Paths". I clicked Add. The next screen was called "Add Drive Letter or Path". I clicked Assign the following drive letter (the default selection), and I used the default drive letter.

I just tried again, and only the screen with tabs appeared. Maybe the change Drive Letters screen only appears when there is no drive letter.
