    Settings - Devices - Bluetooth -> Couldn't connect (Error)

    Removed with difficulty all Bluetooth paired devices and removed the Bluetooth adapter to install another adapter, both Bluetooth 4.0 (USB 2.0).

    Now when trying to pair devices the Windows / Settings / Devices / Bluetooth settings page gives a "Couldn't connect" error message when pressing the "+" button to add devices.

    I deleted drivers for the new adapter, installed the old Bluetooth adapter and downloaded the same 2015 driver for the original Bluetooth adapter.

    Can add devices via the Control Panel's "Devices and Printers" window and everything seems to be working, but the "tablet-style" Bluetooth settings page shows the above error.

    Anyway to fix the Windows settings page like it was before trying to install the new adapter (not the Bluetooth hardware/driver for the original adapter, which is working fine via Control Panel).
