Hardware issue.
One of my old motherboards had like blown capacitors. Not like super blown but just a bit. But this PC woudn't turn on like the fans would turn on but there was no display. So i'm pretty sure it was this eletrolitc caps. (they also had like brownish stuff on the top) so i replaced them the only thing difference is that they are a big bigger then the original caps and they are 1000uf 50v caps. The orignals were 1800uf 16v. Anyone know if this can damage the motherboard or something? Also one last thing. Because the caps are much bigger i coudn't fit them because of the tight space around other compenents so i soldered them without cutting the leads. (you know how you are suppose to cut the leads so they are smaller) idk i don't really care about the MB at this point. I coudnt do anything anyways it was like 5 years old or something. Just wanted to know if someome might be able to tell me what could happen. Could the caps explode or something? I'm just kinda of scared of pressing on the power button.
(didnt know where to post this) (Sorry)
