I don't know. Maybe try calling GoPro and asking them?

I can't even get one result when googling "this device has either stopped..." associated with Hero 10 Black, or with GoPro.

Well, I get a lot of results, but not for GoPro or Hero 10 Black...or any model GoPro results.

I even checked the GoPro forums.
Thank you but I already did it all, before registering there and opening thread.
I'm guessing it will be something related to this. As this shows up in device manager when I connect my gopro.

Have not got much time to do deeper research on this though.

It looks like it wants a driver, aka software of some kind.
I still think the easiest solution is just to call GoPro.

I get this same warning some time (often the next day!) after unplugging some of my mp3 players. A couple of them aren't removed via the "Safely Remove and Eject . . " from the Notification area, and I've simply ignored the message, closing the warning when it appears. Just checked and there is no Eject option shown for the devices in their listing in "this PC". Would be interested if a way to avoid this mildly annoying warning is found!
