Hello @llookk welcome to Ten Forums.

Isn't there a way in the GoPro software to tell the computer that you are going to remove the GoPro?

Hi, thank You for an answer. I do not use any software. All I need is connecting, open GoPro just like any usb flash, copy out files and then disconnect. I do not need anything more.

Have you tried telling Windows to disconnect the device (down in the system tray), before you actually disconnect it?

Or maybe in File Explorer (if it shows up there), right click it and choose: Eject?

If you mean from there then GoPro does not show up there at all.

When you right click on that icon... do you see the option to... Eject?
Or something like Eject. Maybe disconnect or whatever?

I don't know. Maybe try calling GoPro and asking them?

I can't even get one result when googling "this device has either stopped..." associated with Hero 10 Black, or with GoPro.

Well, I get a lot of results, but not for GoPro or Hero 10 Black...or any model GoPro results.

I even checked the GoPro forums.
