Storage Pool Failure:Change Settings not enabling Physical drive optio

Hi I have storage pool in Parity configuration.
One of the three drives in the configuration failed
Now I cannot access storage pool from the file explorer

When I try to mange storage pool and use change settings as admin -- No physical drive options showing up so that I can added another drive and remove old one so that I can restore the storage space

Are there any steps I can take to restore the storage pool?
    Thanks in Advance

Parity spaces are designed for storage efficiency and protect your files from drive failure by keeping multiple copies. Parity spaces are best for archival data and streaming media, like music and videos. This storage layout requires at least three drives to protect you from a single drive failure and at least seven drives to protect you from two drive failures.
    - which would seem to imply you should be protected..

I suspect from what I've seen few here use storage spaces.

It would be worth checking the other disks too with a 3rd party tool.
Hard Disk Sentinel is excellent (functional trial, portable version available, covers SSDs)

To perhaps anticipate such problems, continuous disk monitoring is advisable. HDS can do that, as can Crystal Diskinfo (free) and alert you to degradation vs thresholds.

    Thanks for your reply,

The recovery solutions suggested here are trying to copy content to new drives and delete the storage pool and recreate a new storage pool and copy back from back up.

Since My storage pool is in Parity (RAID 5) configuration , I cannot read from the disks that are not failed to back them up.

Since the "Change settings" option is not providing me with the tasks That I need to add additional disk and remove the failed disk, are they any other Manual way ( like Power Shell commands) to add a disk to the storage pool and remove failed disk from the storage pool?
I noticed my Storage Pool is in a Read-Only state now.

I noticed my Storage Pool is in a Read-Only state now.
    - that's to be expected after a failure.

The descriptions make dealing with a single drive failure sound trivial:
How to set up RAID 5 storage with parity on Windows 10 • Pureinfotech

Once you complete the steps, the RAID 5 storage will be created to start storing files with fault tolerance, and if one of the drives fails, the data will still be accessible.
While there are many RAID (redundant array of independent disks) levels that you can use, when using a striped volume with parity (RAID 5), the data is spread across three or more drives using parity. In the event of a hardware failure, you can replace the drive, and the data will be created again from the data on the other drives.
If you could paste a screenshot of what you see, someone may be able to advise further- I'm afraid I can't.

Also please confirm you've checked the other disks as per previous post. Thanks.

Have you tried disconnecting/removing the failed drive?

    Just attached the screen shot
.Storage Pool Failure:Change Settings not enabling Physical drive optio-screenshot-2021-10-18-125225.png

Notice even after using "change Settings" with admin privileges the tasks related to each
storage Pool - add or remove drive , Storage space and Physical drive are not showing up.

Under these conditions any way to perform those tasks using power shell? if yes, order in which I shall use those tasks would help ( without loosing data)

You have warnings against 2 drives.

Please get a copy of Hard Disk Sentinel, portable version available, run that, and post a screenshot of its GUI for each disk..

My company security software not allowing me to download Hard Disk Sentinel . As you notice in my previous screenshot two of the drives are in good health -- I would like to replaced failed drive and recover the storage Space.

You can use portable versions of such programs and download them elsewhere.

However, if your PC is the responsibility of a company, you should contact your IT department.

It is very likely that policies are in place which will preclude your own maintenance actions.

As you have 2 potentially failed disks, and the failure of only one is covered by such a configuration as I understand it, I suspect you are out of luck.

Without more specific analysis of your disks, it seems pointless to go further.
