I went to the bios Boot section and it says UEFI, would I have to go to legacy in order to see that?
Are you trying to boot from this SATA SSD? Does it have Windows on it? Was it made or cloned from a EFI or MBR/legacy drive? Sure, you could try switching from UEFI to legacy if you're not sure and this SATA SSD is not showing in BIOS.

If it's cloned from the drive in the beginning of the thread, that was EFI, so the BIOS should remain UEFI.

This computer came with a Sata Drive. I installed a CT500P2SSD and cloned it from the Sata drive and made the P2 as my main drive. Now I want to replace the Sata drive with the CT500MX500SSD. I've installed the SSD and need to get it recognized. Then I'm going to clone it from the P2, and when Windows eleven is available to me I will install it on the P2 drive so I will have both 10 and 11. Ok I got it to show up, I went to disk management and a box showed up to have it as GPT and the disk showed up and I did a New Simple Volume and it is now drive G. Now all I need to do is clone it and name it Windows 10 (G) and when I install Windows 11 I'll take the G off. I also need to be able to get it to show up on the boot page where it says Windows 10and Macriuum Reflect.

The cloning went good and I did an F9 and it boots OK. I shut down the computer and started it back up it doesn't show on the selection page . I should have Windows 10, Macriun Reflect and Windows 10 (G). How do I get the Windows 10 (G) to appear for selection.

I used F9 and was able to boot the secondary drive G and used it for awhile. What my problem is now is that I need to get it on the selection screen when you boot the computer, the screen that has the default Windows 10 and Macrium Refect on it so that you have 3 things to select from. After I get it on that screen I need to be able to boot Windows G from that screen. I don't know how to do that so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really need some help with this.

I have a question, these codes that I used at the command prompt would they go in the default windows drive or in the secondary drive? I just started thinking about that and maybe I was putting them in the wrong drive.

Ok steve I read the article and ran the first command bcdedit /enum /v I got 1 Windows Boot manager and 3 separate Windows Boot loaders. One is for 10 and one is for G and the other is for Macrium Reflect.

OK I followed that article to the end and did the reboot. On my selection screen I now have 3 choices Windows 10 on volume 7 ( default), Windows 10 on volume 3 (G), and Macrium Reflect. I rebooted the computer and selected Windows 10 on volume 3 and got a blue screen saying I had corrupted or missing EFI file. I crashed the computer and rebooted and pressed F9 and selected the G drive and all is OK I'm on it now.I just can't select the G drive from the selection screen.

Can barely read that and it's incomplete. Just copy the text and paste it into your reply or change the height of the command prompt window and screenshot only that window. Try using Alt-Printscr to capture just the window image you want to share.
