\f is not recognized as a switch , it should be /f

In any case, it is not necessary - the first command reported successful as shown in your screenshot post 8.

Therefore your disk1 should now be bootable. You can select which disk to boot by going into bios, or by using the one time boot menu key at post.

I don't want windows G to boot first but I would like it in the selection when the computer boots up so that if I want to go there I can click on it so how do I add it to the start up selection? I know just enough to screw things up on my own.

You can do that as well.

If you want to add a boot menu entry for G to your current windows boot menu, it is very simple.

    bcdboot g:\windows

That is because bcboot command will default to the current mode (efi) and live bcd store ( on the esp system partition). So the above command will add an entry for windows on g to the live bcdstore.

So if your bios ( efi firmware) boots disk0
Windows bootmgr ( on disk0 partition1) looks at the bcdstore ( also on disk0 partition1) , he will see there is more than one operating system entry and the little fellow will present you with a menu.

The /s switch is used if you want to put the entry somewhere other than the current live bcd store.

    BCDBOOT <source> [/s <target>]

If you also want an entry for C in your screenshot to be added to the bcdstore on disk1 partition1, then you type:
    bcdboot c:\windows /s \Device\HarddiskVolume4

Then if you boot disk1 from bios ( efi firmware)
Windows bootmgr (on disk1 partition1 ) will look in the bcdstore (also on disk1 partition1)
he will see there is more than one os entry and present you with a menu.

The point of specifying the device path [\Device\HarddiskVolume4] is that you dont need to muck around adding a letter to the target esp partition.

I put that in and when I rebooted the computer I had a blue screen of death, the problem was that file. I crashed the computer and when it booted up it had Windows 10, Windows 7 which I presumed was G and MarciumReflect. I had an image that was mad on the fifth of this month so it was 2 days old so I used it to image my drive back.

    what file?

I cloned my Windows 10 SSD drive to another drive in my computer..It's called Windows G
when it booted up it had Windows 10, Windows 7 which I presumed was G
If it showed as windows 7 on the boot menu, it isnt likely to be a clone of windows 10. Leads one to suspect there is something odd about that alleged clone.

This is a year old HP machine that came with Windows 10 installed. I bought a ssd drive one of the M2. I used crucial Acronis program to clone the factory drive to the SSD. Windows 7 has never been on this machine.

I still need this Windows G to come up in the selection along with Windows 10 and MacriumReflect. I also need to make Windows G bootable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not being a computer expert how do I remove Windows 10 C and if Windows 10 G does boot I still want C as my main boot so when I boot up I have Windows 10, Windows 10 G and Marcium Reflect to choose from.

I'll have to remove the SSD to do that, it's one of those M2 2280 small drives on the motherboard and in this computer it's a tight place to get into to remove the drive.
