Problem with "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" feature

My icon for "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media" no longer gives me the message that said something like "Ok to remove media" after I select "Eject My Passport".

I'm used to and liked the comfort of the "Ok" message.

How can I get it back?

    Settings > System > Notifications & Actions
Make sure the slide switch Get notifications from apps and other senders is turned on.

BUT ... make sure the switches for other individual options are set to off otherwise Windows will drive you bloody bonkers with its incessant popups every time you click the mouse or touch the keyboard. Talk about over-kill ....!!

That can happen when Focus Assist is on. I noticed this when I was running a full screen program, I wasn’t seeing the eject media notification. Turned this off & the popup returned.

    Thanks guys,

The slide switch for Notifications was On but the Focus Assist was set to Priority.
I set Focus Assist to Off and it works Fine!

You guys are the GREATEST and we really appreciate all the excellent help you give all of us!!

PS: I hate MS upgrades and what they screw up that previously worked just fine.
