    Crucial say it will work.

There might be a Cex branch nearby that has stock - in which case you can pop in and buy it. Otherwise, they will post it for a small charge. 24 month warranty.

Yes, they have them 12 miles away. I will have to see if I can get someone to take me as I am partially disabled. Failing that, at that sort of price it will be worth the postage.

    Thanks @Ghot,

But, 4GB is Price: £21.65. I think that I will stick with Cex as I could get 14GB [ just an example ] for that price. I think I have managed to arrange a lift before the weekend.

I just searched for the exact model number. Obviously I can't search UK sources. I don't even know what the UK sources would be.

type in your postcode and click the little search icon

I have had quite a few things from them. I made a mistake and bought the wrong item once, dropped it back in a few days later for an instant refund, no problem.

    Attachment 346709
I haven't been in a position until now to be able to buy the RAM.

I went to the site you posted =CeX (UK) : Stock search

. . . and that particular RAM is NOT shown anymore. But, there is this . . .

Would that work in my Laptop please?

If so, I will purchase TWO sticks tomorrow.

    Thanks.

Yes, you just need to check it is single sided. Pretty sure it will be.

£4 a stick, they are practically giving it away.

I think it is the same. The price has gone down since I last posted.

According to the crucial scanner 1600mhz will be fine. If your laptop only runs at 1333, it will just run at the lower speed.
