    USB drive not opening


    Win 10. My USB drive does not open when I insert it into a USB port (which is on a hub). "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices" is on.

    Does it work if you plug it DIRECTLY into one of the Desktop Ports?

    Yes, it shows in Disk Manager. However, I can't plug it into the PC because there aren't enough USB ports to plug it in and run my external monitor or operate my wireless mouse.
    I guess it's a hub problem and not a PC problem

    Is it a hard drive or a flash drive? A hard drive requires more power output.
    My WD hard drive does not work on a USB hub, while my Seagate hard drive does.

Opening E drive
