    PCIe SATA card

I just purchased a PCIe SATA card and was wondering once I install it is it ok to move any of my current drives to it? Will it cause any issue/s? See profile for system specs.

It's the Same as the Asmedia Card I have here, the branding is just the name of the selling company. I'm running 1 Hd, 1 SSD and an Optical off it. Just needed to install the driver from the mini disk that came with it, it's the Asmedia 106x Controller if you haven't got a DVD drive. drivers here ASMedia Technology Inc. Asmedia ASM 106x SATA 6G Controller Driver Download (2032935)

What type of speed are you seeing from it?

I'm looking to dump the use of the Marvell chip ports and figure this route would be better than just moving the drives to the SATA 2 ports. The motherboard (GA-Z68XP-UD3 rev1.0 PCIe (x1) slots all conform to PCIe 2.0 standard.

Here's a better spot to download the drivers...

    Update:

Opened computer installed card and Windows 10 installed driver for it. (No disk needed). This card did not come with a driver disk. Wonder if installing the ASmedia driver would be better vs the Windows 10 driver?

Windows shows the card in device manager under...IDE ATA/ATAPI contollers>standard SATA AHCI Controller
