Zip 100 drivers for Win 10.
I'm trying to get a old internal zip 100 drive to work with win 10. I'm using a USB adapter with IDE and a power adapter.
Windows can not even see the device, are there any drivers needed?

Hi not sure what your issue is, but I will say I have an Iomega external USB Zip drive and it does work under Windows 10 as I posted here: Iomega USB Zip Drive. No drivers necessary for that USB unit, just plug and play.
Perhaps you could post a link/image of your drive?
I've never tried that, but a little Web searching suggests that it may never work.
In the let-them-eat-cake line, it's still possible to buy new USB 250MB Zip drives (which can also read/write 100 MB cartridges) and 100 MB ones.
If you're retrieving data, there are commercial services that can do it. If this one Computer Media Conversion Services is typical ($30 per Zip 100 disk), it wouldn't be cost effective if you have more than a couple of disks.
It's from a old compaq pc it's model # z100atapi zip.
My PC sees it but it just shows up as a USB ext device.
