Bluetooth is not working — troubleshoot claims I don't even have it

I have done all the following steps:

    - installed bluetooth driver from manufacturer
    - hit windows update
    - updated / uninstalled bluetooth items listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC
    - updated / uninstalled USB drivers listed in Device Manager and restarted the PC (USB drivers automatically came back but not bluetooth)
    - turned on and restarted all bluetooth support in services.msc
    - conducted bluetooth troubleshooting
    - conducted hardware troubleshooting

Just for info, there seems a list of 'LS' models and the Bluetooth drivers are for Broadcom or Atheros. No doubt you have checked but always worth a refresh. Just picked a random 'LS' model and shows this,

That's all the info I could find.

Sorry for confusing you with my specs page with two laptops. It's the Acer laptop that's in bluetooth trouble not the LS (I've now removed that from my profile)

Just a note, Bluetooth on most Notebooks is part of the Wireless/Wi-Fi Network adapter, if Wireless is off so is BT. There are external USB BT dongles available when it is desired to have, work good on Desktops and Notebooks that don't have it or if it doesn't work.

Boot into to Setup (Bios) go to Advanced or Integrated Peripherals and look for Bluetooth, if it is disable, using your Arrow and Enter key, Enable it. Save and Exit
Also download the latest driver from the Acer page Product Support | Acer United States
