    Windows 10 Reboot

This started last week, I was playing Black Mesa, when suddenly I had a total shutdown/reboot. It has now happened 4 times in 3 different games. Memtest is fine, even ran cinebench a few times fine.

The error is Kernel-Power, event 41.

PSU problem? It is almost 5 years old, PC is on 24/7.

Kernel power, event 41 tells you that the system shut down improperly. Not something that you didn't already know.

Semi-random suggestion: run sfc /scannow from a command line with admin privileges. That's the system file checker. It can repair some Windows system file problems.

Also check your CPU temperatures since you will get a forced shutdown if the temperatures are too high. Could also be caused by an inadequate PSU or out of date driver.

It was a dodgy PSU, will never buy a Cooler Master v750 again (it was the 2nd one, the 1st lasted only 6 months), so got a Thermaltake Smart BX1 650w. Will do me as I do not overclock at all.
