The precision touchpad driver would’ve fixed the problem as it did with me, however as you don’t seem interested in trying any suggestions then I can only say good luck.

@Bastet, I think the issue is many are still in shock that they invented a new hiding place for controlling mouse hardware
I don't ever want to suffer the slow dim witted children's mode of "settings" - a confusing horrible mess of insanity, when control panel did it all far better and faster since 1995
