Update the BIOS and it will go away. That's how is works on my Lenovo laptop.
If you don't want to update or be notified of updates turn off notifications in the Lenovo vantage app. Click the dropdown arrow and click Preference Settings and toggle the "App Features" button to off. That should take care of the messages you receive. You might also try toggling off the "Action Triggered" button.
Personally, I'd update the BIOS and be done, but that's me. I've also never had any BIOS or other Lenovo updates break my machine. I've got a 2017 Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga X1 (gen 2).
Good luck.
Now I turned off App Features. I turned off Marketing too.
Will see if it works.
Press the Windows and "R" keys simultaneously, type "APPWIZ.CPL" into the "Open" box and click "OK". When Programs and Features opens, look for "Lenovo Vantage". If you find it, right-click it and select "Uninstall".
