ADB Recognizes My Phone. But Gives Error with 'ADB devices' Command

I'm trying to connect my phone to my pc through adb. I'm able to get my phone recognized when I type 'adb shell' so thats no problem. But when I type 'adb devices' I get an error that says '/system/bin/sh: ADB: inaccessible or not found'. How do I fix this?

There are usually drivers issued by Handset Manufacturers that allow your computer to access the cell phone devices. Google has some for their branded phones. Sometimes those drivers are included in a kernel on a computer but most of the time there is something else you have to do to connect with adb.

    Looks a lot like a command-not-found error.

I dunno. But looks like you typed in a program name that doesn't exist on your system.

Well what kind of phone is it? Look on the handset manufacturer's site under support and see if they have any proprietary software for interfacing with the device. Sometimes you won't be able to access anything on the device unless you give them a target to push their infrastructure on to one of your computers. Install whatever they want util they allow you access to their devices. You shouldn't have to do this but software isn't always open, free or accessible.

Did you enable USB debugging on the handset and also acknowledge access permission when connected to the computer for the first time after enabling USB debugging?

Actually, no. You're OP is so lacking in information that I had to ask.

However, never fear. Since you are obviously so smart, I shall not attempt to assist you further.
