HP G6 gives Hard Disk error

I have updated from Windows 20H2 to Windows 21H1.
Today I cloned the HDD to a Crucial MX500 SSD when I installed the SSD I get "Hard disk error" I have run the System Diagnostic for the SSD and it passes the SMART Check and Short DST.
I have changed from Legacy to UFEI but have the same error.
Is there anything else I can change in the BIOS or any where else to have the SSD to boot into windows?

What program did you use to clone the drive? Did you cloned the hole drive or only some partitions?
How did you changed from Legacy to UFEI?

Have you tested the old drive as if you cloned a disk with bad blocks they will be written to the new drive

    Used Macrium Reflect.
Changed Legacy to UFEI in BIOS and then back to Legacy.

If you had win 10 on the computer, you don't need any key. Install same Win 10 version (Home or Pro) and it will activate.

What you want to do, clone the existing working drive into the SSD or do a clean install?

Sounds like a poor SATA connection.

That is possible but why setup does not go beyond collecting information?
And then says cannot find Microsoft License Agreement?

Can I install windows on the SSD by connecting it with a SSD to USB adapter and using another pc then try it on the laptop?

Likely is saying that it can't find the EULA documentation file, which comes with all versions of Windows, since Windows 2000, IIRC. Looks like a file-not-found error.
